Deborah’s Collection FacialTox Advanced is fortified with Malus Domestica, Swiss Apple Stem Cell, Argireline, Soluble Marine Collagen, and Advanced Moisture Complex. These cutting-edge ingredients come together to help combat signs of aging, reduce existing facial wrinkles, inhibit future development of wrinkles, contour and rejuvenate firmness to the skin’s matrix.  Recommended for all skin types.

Significant Ingredients:

Swiss Apple Stem Cell (Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract)

Botanical stem cells, the Swiss apple stem cells, Malus Domestica, are cultivated from a rare and endangered species of the apple tree called the Uttwiler Spatlauber.  This fruit contains regenerative stem cells that protect it from decay, even months after harvesting. Studies show, when incorporated into skin care products, these stems cells can increase the longevity of skin cells and help combat chronological aging, while delaying the skin cells’ biological aging process.

Malus Domestica Swiss Apple stem cells have been clinically tested and shown to:

• rejuvenate skin cells
• improve lines and wrinkles, contour the face
• protect against oxidative stress, prolong dermal fibroblast
• provides a youthful look and vitality to the skin
• results after only four weeks of use

Stem cells are found in the epidermis, dermis, bulge region of the hair follicle and sebaceous glands. Stem cells are important for keeping skin healthy and looking young.  As we mature, fibroblasts* no longer function as they should and the production of collagen is decreased.

* (A fibroblast is a type of cell that synthesizes the skin cellular matrix and collagen.)

Argireline is a non-toxic, anti-aging peptide (acetyl hexapeptide-3), naturally derived from amino acids that reduces the depth of existing facial wrinkles and has been effective against their future development.

Argireline provides beneficial effects in two ways:

• inhibiting the formation of the SNARE complex
• inhibiting release of catecholamines

Catecholamines are neurotransmitters responsible for muscle contractions (which can cause lines and wrinkles). They are amines that include epinephrine, norephinephirine and dopamine. Inhabiting the release of catecholamines can reduce contraction of the muscles causing the wrinkles.

The SNARE complex is a core of membrane proteins that enables the transfer of the neurotransmitters. If the SNARE complex is cut or inhibited, then the release of the neurotransmitters (catecholamines) will decrease as well as the formation of wrinkles.

Study Conclusion: Reduces the severity of wrinkles up to 17% after 15 days of treatment and up to 27% after 30 days of treatment. (Used morning and night)

Marine Collagen

Collagen is an important component in the human body. About one quarter of all of the protein in your body is collagen. It constitutes up to 70% of our skin. Its main function lies in its ability to hold connective tissues of the skin together. Bones and teeth are made of by adding mineral crystals to collagen. Collagen provides structure to our bodies, protecting and supporting the softer tissues and connecting them with the skeleton. But, in spite of its critical function in the body, collagen is a relatively simple protein. As one matures, one starts to lose the elasticity of their skin due to the reduction of collagen. This results in the formation of wrinkles and bags under the eyes. Around the age of twenty-five, our body slowly decreases its production of collagen.  By the age of forty-five, it is estimated around 30% of our body’s collagen as been reduced. Overwhelming stress, inadequate sleep, and unhealthy diets contribute to this biological aging concern.

Marine Collagen is believed to be the best source of collagen. It is extracted from a range of fish close to the cod family located in the North Atlantic.

Soluble Marine Collagen will assist in:

• replenishing lost collagen
• maintaining collagen in the skin’s matrix.

Advance Moisture Complex is a balanced blend of performance ingredients (moisturizers, humectants, conditioners, etc.) each of which addresses the different causes of dry skin. Each component of AMC is a high performance ingredient in its own right; yet working together they create a synergistic action providing better results.

Application:

Morning Regimen:  Gently cleanse face with Enzymatic Facial Peel and rinse with warm water. Apply ORAC Spritz or Toning Spritz.  For best results, apply Eliminate. Then apply FacialTox Advanced over the entire face and neck area. Follow with the appropriate Deborah’s Collection moisturizer.

Night Regimen:  Gently cleanse face with Gentle Cleansing Wash or Cleansing Crème to remove surface make-up, oils, and dirt.  Apply Oxygen Clarifying Treatment and rinse after treatment.  Apply FacialTox Advanced over the face and neck area.  Follow with Ultra Firm Eye Crème and the appropriate Deborah’s Collection moisturizer.

FacialTox Advanced
